Service Overview

Platefy gives you tools to capture recipes from Instagram and other sources, organize them in collections, personalize cooking plans, and access premium features such as unlimited imports, advanced filters, and offline mode.

Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your region) to use Platefy. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Premium subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and facilitated by RevenueCat.
• Free trials convert to paid plans unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Subscription prices, billing cadence, and benefits are detailed in the app and may change with notice. Taxes may apply.
• You can cancel anytime from your device settings; access continues until the current period ends. We do not issue partial refunds.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade access until the issue is resolved.

Your Recipes & Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, notes, and media you import, and the original creator of any social post keeps all rights to their content. Platefy does not claim ownership—we only reorganize and format the recipes for a clearer viewing experience. Imported recipes may be visible to all Platefy users to support shared discovery. By importing content you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service, and you acknowledge that Platefy does not verify ownership of user-submitted content. Avoid uploading sensitive personal data.

Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse Platefy by attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload our systems.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute content or data obtained through the app outside of personal use.
• Respect intellectual property rights when importing or sharing recipes.
• Avoid uploading malicious code, spam, or content that violates applicable laws.
• Use Platefy in accordance with community guidelines and all applicable regulations.

Termination

You can stop using Platefy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users. Upon termination we may delete your stored content, subject to legal requirements.

Disclaimers

Platefy and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Recipe accuracy, nutrition information, and outcomes may vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platefy, its founders, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. When we make material updates, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
